How to Book your class?

To Book a class you will need to set-up your Mywellness Account. If you do not have one, go to www.mywellness.com/zen2yoga
Once you have set this up, please download the Mywellness App from Apple or Android store. You can then sign in and book classes within the App.
If you already have a Mywellness Account, please let us know and we will add your to our system.

About booking your class
All classes are inclusive of all equipment, so you don’t need to bring your own mat, block or strap. Meditation Cushions and Bolsters will also be available for use during classes. There are no hidden charges and tea, coffee & water will be available after class on request.

Please arrive at the studio 15 mins prior to the class.

All classes need to be booked through Mywellness App to ensure your space and must be paid at time of booking. Some spaces may be available on a drop-in basis.

There is ample parking and cycle racks available. Please ensure you arrive on time for your class as you will not be allowed in once the class is underway.

We understand that circumstances can change and that sometimes you cannot make a booked session. Please contact us at least 2 hours prior to the class at yoga@zen2.co.uk if you need to cancel and there will be no charge and a credit will be given if it is a paid session. If you cancel within 2 hours of the class starting you may be charged for the class.

For Livestream Classes
When the Class is about to start we will set it up and you will get a notification through the App. You can then follow the class on your phone or tablet, you can mirror it to a smart tv or you can follow it on a Laptop or PC. To follow on Laptop or PC simply follow the instructions on the App, an email will be sent and you simply open the class through the email on your PC or Laptop.

Ashtanga

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and physically demanding style of hatha yoga, characterized by a set sequence of postures. Its foundation lies in vinyasa, which are the fluid transitions between poses, emphasizing the synchronization of breath and movement. Although it is an intense physical workout, it equally fosters mental focus and a sense of tranquillity.

Seated Class
Ashtanga practice is divided into two parts: the second consists of seated postures. This session welcomes everyone and will commence right after the standing sequence, offering you the opportunity to do both if you’re up for a challenge!
Standing Class
The initial phase of the practice involves Standing postures, beginning with Sun Salutations and progressing swiftly through a series of challenging standing asanas. Movements are synchronized with breath to create flow, making it suitable for beginners to dynamic yoga.

Mysore Practice

Ashtanga Mysore offers you the chance to engage in your personal Ashtanga practice at your own rhythm, guided by the attentive supervision of our instructors. We aim to begin as a group, and you may progress through the practice to the extent you wish. Detailed guidance on the Asanas will be provided for you to follow.

Chair Yoga – to get you moving:

Chair-based yoga provides the same advantages as conventional yoga, such as enhancing strength, flexibility, and mental health. It’s an excellent option for seniors, individuals with specific health issues, and anyone who spends their day at a desk. We believe in movement as medicine, ensuring you’ll experience the benefits. Plus, a tea and chat session is included!

Body Pump

Les Mills Body Pump is a barbell workout set to powerful music. BODYPUMP offers a comprehensive body workout that burns calories, shapes and tones the entire body, boosts core strength, and enhances bone health. Delivered in a 45-minute session, instructors guide you through scientifically-proven moves and techniques, providing encouragement, motivation, and energizing music, helping you accomplish more than you could alone.

Fitness Yoga

This practice merges dynamic movements with static poses to enhance muscle flexibility and strength. Accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack, it is a practice suitable for everyone. As the name suggests, this class emphasises the fitness aspects of yoga, making it appropriate for all.

Hatha Yoga

A typical Hatha yoga class includes a series of physical postures (yoga poses) and breathing techniques, performed slowly with more prolonged posture holds. Hatha yoga aims to achieve balance, symbolized by the sun and moon, thus promoting equilibrium between them. It is suitable for practitioners of all levels.

Indian Hatha Yoga

A diverse class of yoga techniques developed through training in India. This progressive class follows a structured sequence of learning and will encompass all aspects of Yoga, making it suitable for practitioners of all levels.

Kids Yoga (P4 – P7)

Kids yoga grows confidence.

Kids yoga promotes a healthy body.

Kids yoga improves concentration.

Kids yoga improves balance and coordination.

Kids yoga helps children manage stress through breathing.

Kids yoga introduces children to mindfulness and relaxation.

Kids yoga helps children’s sleep.

Little Yins Yoga (P1 – P3)

This is for the Younger kids P1-3.

Fitness Pilates

Magical choreography, hypnotic music, and the latest exercise science. A 45-minute mind-body workout designed to improve strength, mobility and happiness. Slow, simple movements tone your abs, glutes, back, and hips. Expert guidance builds technique and control. Modern breathwork creates renewal and bliss. Traditional Pilates meets the Les Mills experience, leaving you feeling strong, uplifted, and calm.

Maddava (Pada) Yoga

Maddave (Pada) is Sanskrit and means mildness, softness, gentleness, kindness, weakness and pliancy (leniency).

In this practice we will combine techniques of Hatha Yoga such as Pawanmuktasana Series – 1,2,3. It will also involve other yogic movement techniques as well as meditation. Gentle Yoga with an exotic name!

Mum & Baby Yoga

A postnatal yoga class designed for both mum and baby. Suitable for mums and babies from 6 weeks postnatal to 18 months. A lovely way to have fun and bond with your baby. The class integrates movements and postures which includes your little one. I also provide play mats and some toys if babies prefer to have some tummy or play time during class and of course you are welcome to bring your own too. Contact:

Pregnancy Yoga:

Delivered by Mamawellbeing in partnership with Zen2yoga.
This class is designed specially for pregnancy and up to 18 months postpartum. We welcome you to join at any point on this journey. You will be guided through physical practice (asana) that prepares you for pregnancy, birth and provides a foundation for postpartum recovery. Breathing techniques (Pranayama) are also integrated which is helpful for labour and birth and for general relaxation. Contact:

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. This is a deeply meditative practice that induces a deep sense of calm. Suitable for all.

During this yoga practice, we will strive to find a lightness in our practice and to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere whilst learning more about yoga. The practice focusses on the fundamentals of Yoga and brings an understanding of all aspects of yogic life. Suitable for beginners and all what want to learn

Yoga for All with Self Myofascial release

Yoga for All is tailored for anyone interested in practicing Yoga. The class incorporates Self Myofascial Release, so participants are requested to bring a small ball, such as a tennis ball. The class is enjoyable and offers outstanding benefits, making it appropriate for everyone.

Yoga for Core

Yoga for Core classes aim to fortify and stabilize the muscles in your torso, encompassing the abdominals, back, hips, and pelvis. These sessions can aid in enhancing posture and balance, preventing injuries, and alleviating back pain. They may incorporate diverse equipment and exercises, ensuring a low-impact approach to safeguard your joints. These classes are appropriate for everyone.

Yoga for hips and hamstrings

This class is full of slow stretches and big possibilities. Flowing movement to warm & loosen the muscles is combined with slow, deep yin-style stretches to improve flexibility & mobility in the joints & connective tissue, to help create freedom & ease in the body. Suitable for all.

Yogic Meditation

Meditation, or Dhyana, is not merely sitting cross-legged and chanting ‘Om.’ There are numerous variations to the time-honoured practice of meditation, and in this session, we delve into them. Each week offers something different, whether it’s using bowls, candles, or incorporating dance and laughter. This is open to everyone.

Zen2fit -Dance

Dance fitness classes blend dance and exercise to enhance physical fitness and mental well-being. These classes are typically enjoyable and interactive, catering to individuals of all ages and abilities. Key aspects of dance fitness classes involve mastering dance routines. Children are welcome as well!

Zen2fit Aerobics

Aerobic classes offer a high-energy workout with diverse movements designed to elevate your heart rate and help you burn calories. Guided by an instructor and accompanied by music, these classes make a great complement to any fitness regimen and cater to all fitness levels.

Zen2spin

This class provides a dynamic and efficient cardiovascular workout within a group environment. Participants will cycle in sync with energizing music, led by an instructor, to enhance cardiovascular health, burn calories, and strengthen the lower body. It is appropriate for all fitness levels.
